Founded in February 1964 by His Grace Dr Joseph Kiwanuka, the then Metropolitan Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese. Since then, the custodianship has been under his respective successors, namely;

- Together with the Auxiliary, Rt. Rev. Bishop Christopher Kakooza
We are proud of the human formation programme, Discipline, a legacy of academic excellence, specious learning environment free from the city noise and pollution, co-curricular activities, qualified teaching and professional staff, electricity, a stand by generator and a lot more facilities that favour learning are available.
We are committed to a serious program geared towards academic excellence.
Ten of the sixteen business hours of our working day are dedicated to academics. As such it carries the biggest portion of our business.
We have Beginning of Term, Mid Term and End of Term Examinations.
We also have Weekly tests and progressive ranking for P. 7 candidates for a thorough assessment.
Generally, the learners are diligent at studies and some with minimum supervision.
